Springfield Solutions is Calling it Quits!
Well it's been a blast. I started Springfield Solutions in February of 2001. At the time, I was just out of college. I loved working on computers and that was how I intended to earn a living. Over the last decade, I grew Springfield Solutions into a profitable business and was earning substantial part-time income. I've designed hundreds of websites and repaired even more computers. I came close to making Springfield Solutions my full time job on several occasions. Still, there was this nagging little feeling that maybe it wasn't the final place I wanted to end up. I guess that I knew I wanted a little more.
Enter 2010. I started focusing more on web design and realizing the importance of SEO, which is Search Engine Optimization. In short, it's the fine art of getting your website, whatever your subject may be, to the top results in Google. After that, I started playing with AdSense, which are ads that Google lets your run on your websites. For the longest time, I was under the false belief that only a major website could make any money with AdSense. Had I done my homework better a few years ago, all of my income would now be sitting on auto-pilot. As it stands currently, within the year 2010, I have raised my online earnings from 0 dollars a day to over $1000 a month with AdSense. It's simply an amazing way to make money.
I'll finish here by telling you that I'm not trying to sell you anything, and I have no agenda at all. Springfield, Missouri is my hometown and i love it. I'm just leaving this message here to encourage others in this area to start understanding AdSense and learning about SEO. You don't have to be a web guru or be particular great at understanding how to put up websites at first. It's all easily learned and AdSense income can give you all the extra money you want.. on auto-pilot.
If you're looking for a great place to start, my wife is running Web-Design101 and she's doing quite well building her AdSense earnings up quickly. She's also created a great resource to help beginners understand how to do this. Stop by and pay her a visit if you're interested at all. For most people it will take two or three years of blogging to start seeing a significant income, but once it starts, it will keep building almost by itself. I'm fortunate enough to have learned a little PHP programming and that's definitely helped me in getting ahead of the game quickly.. but indeed, any one can still achieve success with AdSense. I can't recommend this method of making money enough!
In closing.. thanks for all the business, Springfield! You helped me get through those hard times when I was still a single man and fresh out of college. It's a true blessing to live in the Ozarks and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else (or I would!). Blessings to all!
