What's
Next
What's Next? is a popular Top-40 cover band out of
Springfield, Mo. The professional 5-member group is
sponsored by Budweiser and performs songs from today, back
through the 90's, 80's, 70's and 60's. Great things
are happening with the band and we're proud to play in the Ozarks, where
there are so many great musicians and music lovers. We
hope you will come
out and see us sometime. Having fun and making sure you
are having fun is as important to us as playing great
sounding music. With well over 100 shows
(including many weddings and banquets, as well as clubs)
since celebrating our first year together in April '05,
our schedule is more demanding with every passing year, and we're excited about it. We've
played
at such places as the Bearded Clam for Memorial Day
Weekend, the Horny Toad at Lake of the Ozarks for
Halloween night the last two years, Qdoba's annual Cinco
de Mayo celebration and Cartoons Oyster Bar & Grill for New
Years, 2006. We've also been featured as one of the
area's best bands in 417 Magazine. See you at the show!

Cham
Newhouse
Originally from Texas, Cham first sang in front
of an audience at age 6 and has been at it ever
since. A classically trained vocalist, Cham grew up
singing gospel and soul music, later adding jazz,
country and rock ‘n roll to his repertoire. His vocal
flexibility contributes to the wide range of styles
employed by What’s Next?. |

Jeff Kastner
From the St. Louis area, Jeff started playing guitar
and piano at age 16. He is also a trained vocalist,
having competed in several competitions, starting at
the age of 10. His hot guitar licks, bluesy
vocals and high-energy stage presence are a trademark
of What’s Next?. Jeff has a personal website located
here. |

Josh Pool
Josh is from London, Arkansas. The free spirit of the
band, Josh learned to play guitar at 16 and picked up
the bass at 18. He also has played with several bands
around town and has recorded with a major record
producer. When Josh gets into a groove, there's
no mistaking that he is definitely "feeling it". |

Chris Pace
Chris hails from Fordland, Missouri and has been
playing the drums for 16 years. He has played in many
local bands during that time. Together, Chris and Josh provide the searing backbeat for the band. |

Paul Carson
The guitar prodigy. Paul Carson is originally
from Memphis, TN. His style was most
definitely learned from that of Eddie Van Halen, but
Paul has since formulated his own unique sound and style
and his melodic solos are his signature.
His guitar technique is among the very best in the
area and his licks are second to none. While
priding himself on "tasteful licks", Paul is also
capable of hand speed (while retaining clarity) that
few other guitarists can match. |
